Hi! I’m Robin Eular, and I’m a teacher, avid kayaker, and kayaking blogger with a passion for triathlons.

I started kayaking when I was 26 years old and haven’t stopped since. When I’m not teaching or running around after my two kids (who are 8 and 10), you can find me on the water paddling off into the sunset with my friends.

I’ve been kayaking since I was a kid, and it’s my absolute passion. I started out as a casual paddler, but after college, I got really into it—and now I’m a teacher at a local school and an avid competitor in triathlons.

As an adult living in Seattle, WA (the birthplace of modern-day kayaking), I’ve had the opportunity to explore Puget Sound’s great outdoors while paddling with friends or solo.

Now that I’m older and wiser (and have more responsibilities), my kayaking expeditions tend to be shorter in duration and closer to home. But there’s something about being out on the water that always makes me feel young again—it reminds me of why we moved here in the first place: because we wanted to live by the sea!

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. This was a huge wake-up call for me; it forced me to reevaluate how I was living my life and made me realize how important it is for me to stay active and eat healthy foods whenever possible.
